Hello! I'm new to all these orgone generator things but I really want one and I don't want to be scammed. I was searching Ebay.co.uk to find one. Just wanting to ask if anyone has any experience of what of these should I get?
home-garden.shop.ebay.co.uk/items/
or
home-garden.shop.ebay.co.uk/item...em282
I would really need only the original version with the metal slabs and no annoying decorations. DIY would be the best but that is too time consuming and I've got money. Just feel like this whole orgone is pissed with new age blood suckers.
Is one shaped as a pyramid more efficent than a cube?
What is the best inside material?
Does the quality of metal matter or is it enough that it is heavy? Does it need to be 100% sealed to work?

Re: Orgone generators from ebay?
Tue, January 20, 2009 - 7:15 AMWhat do you think of these?
www.orgonics.com/humorac.htm#anchor54483
Quite expensive but I guess the material isn't that cheap. And all the cutting etc.
Is it really useful to have more than 3 layers of the material?
Would Formaldehyde-free fiberglass be better for layeringinstead of the sheep's wool?
Any cheaper place that sell these kind of boxes? Or is the website bullshit?
Are the blankets useful? www.orgonelab.org/energyblankets.htm

Re: Orgone generators from ebay?
Tue, January 20, 2009 - 8:25 AMThose things on ebay don't look like anything that Reich ever researched. Looks like somebody using the word "orgone" to sell knick-knacks. I've never heard of a pyramid shaped orgone accumulator.
Anything you find from James DeMeo's website, orgonelab.org, is a safe bet. James is one of the few researchers in the USA that I know of who has a room-sized orgone accumulator. He is trustworthy and has a great selection of books and materials.
Regarding an orgone accumulator, I'd recommend building your own. James has a book, "The Orgone Accumulator Handbook" that has all of the building designs for a few different sized orgone accumulators. Even more important, he discusses the places where one should NOT use such a device (near high-power electric lines, airports, etc). His book is the best intro to the subject, IMO.
Good luck! -

Tue, January 20, 2009 - 8:31 AMI just looked at those ebay items again. I don't see how they have anything to do with Reich's work with orgone. Yes, a scam.

Re: Orgone generators from ebay?
Fri, January 23, 2009 - 5:31 PMThe stuff on the second ebay link looks about right....
basically your looking for aluminum shavings in a clear resin...
(and that's about as detailed as I get.)
The holy handgrenades (as they are called and you can read about how they were developed with search) on this guys site also look very similar to mine.
www.ctbusters.com/home/
I had a friend make one for me and I quite like it.
Nothing profound out of it for me but I do feel it has some effect.
And yes James DeMeo is all good.

I'll post a picture of mine to the web site as well.
All best,
Rob
